Iraqi Christians Flee Violence In Ancient Homeland

Full Story Here

      Company Profile

National Organization of Iraqi Christians (NOOIC) is a newly established non-profit corporation registered in the state of Michigan. NOOIC sole purpose is to give social services to Iraqi Christians and non-Christians alike. By providing a helping hand to individuals and families recovering from scars of post war, violence, trauma and despair that most Iraqis need to cross the bridge, religious and ethnic gap that had divided many Iraqis in the recent years.

These services are unique and vital to most Iraqis torn by being unable to speak out, reach out and have some kind of hope. To continue living day to day in a situation that many of us Americans take for granted, such as going shopping, schooling and even going about one’s business.

The scars of war are deep and very slowly healing. Without direct help from Iraqi-American Christians, and people of a higher power worldwide to assist and provide the necessary needs through NOOIC. Most likely this will not be fully understood and frequently distrusted and as an Iraqi citizen seeing and trusting a foreigner is unlikely and will not help much.

NOOIC as well as many Iraqi-Americans feel there are many urgent & vital needs to reach out and help. There is no time to actually waste or wait since the violence keeps escalating daily with no end insight due to Government leaders ignoring the urgent, needs of Iraqi people regardless of what their religion and ethnic background may be or consist of.

The time has come for the American and other worldwide media outlets to allow minority Iraqi Christians (NOOIC), to be heard.  To enable Iraqi Christians to express all their concerns, to be treated equally like every other Iraqi within Iraq (e.g., free from discrimination; free from prevention of exercising their Christian faith; free from being targeted for executions & church bombings; to be permitted and to be allowed to express their freedom of thoughts, speech, and demonstration, etc.). Iraq’s violence will not end unless the Iraqi culture be explained, recognized, and understood by American media and other world media outlets. Passing it along to the viewers to grasp.

Iraq has Christians living among many cities in Iraq where Muslims dominate. Iraqi Christians are mostly professionals working within most of Iraq’s neighborhoods. Their lives and life of their families are in a constant threats, from all sides becoming in the middle of a battle that almost all Christians have no say so saying or no voice in government decision makings, or direct involvement in power sharing or to reach out to ease the violence that tolls Iraqi society with no hope or end insight.

NOOIC strongly urge the media to give us a chance and to clear up the message that we are addressing here by reaching out to U.S. Congress members, U.S. administration policy makers, our own community, world leaders, etc.  In order to explain to the public & the world at large, what is needed to be done & what we are trying to do here at NOOIC.

You can always call and contact us at 1-586-939-2554, also see E-Mails, to have your representative speak to us at your convenience to explain and clarify any questions you have. Contact Us

To whom it may concern:

Hi, my name is Mr. Kalasho the founder of NOOIC, we at NOOIC (Please see website www.nooic.org) have great concerns in regards to the selective & targeting of the Iraqi Christians' assassination killings, & persecutions etc., committed inside War Zone Iraq & elsewhere.

NOOIC a newly established non-profit organization awaiting its approval of 501(C)(3) status, while the IRS has been stalling the processing of the NOOIC'S 501(c)(3) approval, having it sitting in the IRS back burner. NOOIC has & possess a sufficient & peaceful plans to resolve this in a safely manner, in order to stop the targeting & the unlawful barbaric persecutions of the Iraqi Christians. However, we need our concerns to be fully addressed, looked into, investigated & implement.

NOOIC hope & prays to be provided the opportunity to meet & discuss with your producers, management and/or respective representative members, in order to assist in resolving & the implementing the NOOIC'S plan to save & rescue the Iraqi Christians, that have been Deliberately targeted, selectively assassinated, & the barbaric executions & kidnapping of Iraqi Christians inside War Zone Iraq.

Prior to the 2003 War in Iraq, Saddam Hussein used to protect the Christians because they were loyal to him & his regime. After Saddam has been dead, The Iraqi Christians have chosen to assist the American invaders/occupiers, because of this, the Sunni Muslims feel they are betrayed, The Shia Muslims want to destroy the Iraqi Christians to get revenge for siding With Saddam Hussein, and simply because they chosen to assist the American invaders/occupiers.

Your assistance & participation is being respectfully requested, and is surely needed & greatly appreciated. Please respond to this urgent matter. Thank you

Yours truly,
Mr. Tahrir (aka Tom) Kalasho

Dear Tahrir:

At this year's Iraq Action Days, EPIC supporters like you came to Washington DC to urge the Bush administration and Congress to do more to help innocent Iraqis affected by the war. Among the hundreds who participated was Kevin Murphy, an Iraq War veteran and Rutgers law student who has been a passionate advocate for Iraqi refugees since his return home.

Iraqi refugees on the move.Following Iraq Action Day, Kevin Murphy went back to his campus and got to work. Today, thanks to the extraordinary efforts of Kevin and his colleagues at Rutgers, we are proud to announce the next step in bringing the urgent humanitarian crisis to the center of our national discourse on Iraq:

IRAQ AT THE CROSSROADS: Protecting Refugees,
Rescuing Our Allies, and Empowering Iraqi Law

A National Symposium at Rutgers School of Law, Newark, NJ
October 24th, 2008 (Friday), 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
http://lawrecord.typepad.com/

This important conference will explore the plight of Iraqi refugees and internally displaced persons, the unique dangers faced by Iraqis who helped the U.S., and how existing Iraqi law can be empowered to create peace in the country. Learn from and network with fellow activists, knowledgeable experts, and organizations taking humanitarian action for peace in Iraq.

Gathering two weeks before the Presidential election, featured speakers include Iraqi Judge Ra'id Juhi of the Saddam Hussein trial, Congressman Bill Pascrell, Emily Gish of Mercy Corps, Bob Carey of International Rescue Committee, Zahir Janmohamed of Amnesty International, Sam Parker of the U.S. Institute of Peace, Kirk Johnson of the List Project, and Hilary Ingraham of the U.S. State Department.
